Damac FC — Last 6
Al-Fayha — Last 6

Damac FC host Al-Fayha in the Saudi Pro League on Friday evening, 15 May 2026, with both sides carrying enough baggage to make this feel like more than a routine late-season fixture. Damac are down in 15th and scrapping to avoid being dragged deeper into trouble, while Al-Fayha sit 10th and are trying to finish with some dignity after a stop-start campaign. Neither team is where it wants to be. That much is obvious.

For Damac, the table says survival is the priority. They’ve got 26 points, only five wins all season and a defence that’s leaked 51 goals. Al-Fayha have been steadier without ever looking truly secure, sitting on 38 points with 41 scored and 50 conceded. There’s no European chase here, no trophy pressure. Just pride, positioning and the need to avoid ending the season in a slump.

Their meeting in January finished 1-1, and that result fits the broader feel of the fixture. These two have often landed in the same kind of space: competitive, a bit messy, and rarely one-sided. You don’t come here expecting a polished contest. You expect chances at both ends. A couple of goals, maybe a wobble or two, and probably enough space for both attacks to have a say.

Damac FC Form & Analysis

Damac’s recent run tells a pretty blunt story. They went to Al-Ahli on 4 April and were beaten 3-0. They then drew 1-1 at home to Al-Qadsiah, which at least stopped the bleeding for a moment, before beating Al-Okhdood 2-0 in Damac and giving themselves a brief lift. Since then, though, it’s been a sharp slide back down. A home defeat to Al-Khaleej, a narrow 1-0 loss at Al-Hilal, and then that 2-1 defeat away to Al-Ittihad on 10 May. Three losses in a row. Not ideal.

There’s a pattern here, and it isn’t a flattering one. Damac have struggled to control games and have been forced into chasing too often. Against Al-Ittihad, they were actually in the match for long spells, with xG reading 1.23 to 1.31 and eight shots on target between them. They even got a goal from Yakou Méïté late on after Houssem Aouar had earlier opened the scoring, but they still came away empty-handed. That’s been the issue all season. They can get into games. They just don’t close them out often enough.

At home, the numbers are better than their league position suggests, but only just. Damac’s home record stands at three wins, six draws and seven defeats, with 15 goals scored and 20 conceded. That’s not a fortress. It’s a ground where opponents can live with the pressure. They’ve only won once in their last four at home, and the balance still leans toward awkward, low-margin football rather than anything comfortable. Mind you, they’ve only been shut out once in this recent stretch, so they’re not short of a route to goal. The trouble is that they keep offering one at the other end too.

Al-Fayha Form & Analysis

Al-Fayha arrive with a little more breathing room in the table, but their own form has been patchy enough to keep the mood mixed. They started April with a 1-0 defeat away to Neom SC, then drew 1-1 at home to Al-Ahli and lost 2-0 at Al-Hazem. That was a dreary little spell. Still, they bounced up sharply at home to Al-Riyadh, producing a 4-2 win that felt like a release rather than a turning point. Since then? A 1-1 draw away to Al-Kholood and a 2-1 home defeat to Al-Qadsiah on 9 May. Enough to show they can score. Not enough to show they can hold a lead or lock a game down.

That last match against Al-Qadsiah was a good example of the problem. Al-Fayha created plenty of trouble, with xG of 1.53 and three big chances, but they also allowed the same number at the other end and still lost. Musab Al Juwayr and Fashion Sakala got on the scoresheet, yet the final touch of the game went against them. That’s the recurring issue. They’ve got moments in them. They’re not lacking threat. But the back line hasn’t been reliable, and when matches become open, they often end up paying for it.

Their away record isn’t terrible, but it isn’t one you’d trust blindly either. Four wins, two draws and ten defeats on the road, with 19 scored and 31 conceded, paints the picture clearly enough. They do carry a bit more away threat than Damac do at home, but the defensive numbers are ugly. And that matters here, because Damac are usually good for at least one goal in front of their own crowd. Can Al-Fayha keep this tight? Recent evidence says no. They’ve gone six without a clean sheet overall, and that’s been a major part of their inconsistency.

Head-to-Head

This fixture has been stubbornly close in recent years. The latest meeting, in January, ended 1-1 at Al-Fayha. Before that, Al-Fayha edged Damac 2-1 in May 2025, and the two teams drew 2-2 and 1-1 in meetings at Damac’s ground in December 2024 and May 2024. Go back a little further and Damac did enjoy a 4-2 away win in December 2023, but that feels more like the exception than the rule.

The common thread is goals. These sides have shared the scoring in six straight head-to-head meetings, and that’s hard to ignore when the same weaknesses keep showing up in the present tense. They don’t often suffocate each other. They trade moments, then trade mistakes. That’s the familiar shape of this pairing.

We Predict: Both Teams To Score

We’re backing Both Teams To Score at 1/1 for this one. It’s the cleanest angle in the match, and the price is fair enough for a game that keeps throwing up the same warning signs. Damac have conceded in three straight, Al-Fayha haven’t kept a clean sheet in six, and both sides have been involved in recent matches where chances were there on both sides. This isn’t the sort of fixture where one team usually slams the door shut.

A 1-1 scoreline looks the right call. Damac’s home edge isn’t strong enough to make them a comfortable favourite, but they’ve got enough about them to score, while Al-Fayha have shown just enough attacking life away from home to nick a goal of their own. If you want a small alternative, the draw has real appeal too. But BTTS is the main play here.
