Raków Częstochowa — Last 6
Jagiellonia Białystok — Last 6

Raków Częstochowa host Jagiellonia Białystok on Wednesday evening, 13 May 2026, in a huge Ekstraklasa meeting that could go a long way to shaping the title race and the fight for European places. Both clubs sit on 49 points, with Jagiellonia second and Raków third only on the narrowest of margins in the table. There’s nothing soft about this one. Every point matters now.

Raków come into it knowing a home win would keep real pressure on the sides above them, while Jagiellonia arrive with the same sense of urgency and the better attacking numbers across the season. The league picture is tight, the margins are thin, and both teams have spent most of the campaign in the upper reaches of the division. This is the sort of match that can sharpen ambitions in a hurry.

The backdrop is pretty clear. Raków have been solid without being flawless, especially at home, where they’ve banked enough points to stay in the hunt but not enough to feel comfortable. Jagiellonia, meanwhile, have been one of the league’s sharper travelling sides and have kept themselves in the top-two conversation through a mix of resilience and punch going forward. You’d expect goals here. Neither side looks built to sit back and hope for the best.

Raków Częstochowa Form & Analysis

Raków’s recent run has had a bit of everything. They came through a tricky away trip to Lechia Gdańsk on 25 April with a 2-1 win, then produced one of their strongest performances of the spring by beating Cracovia 4-1 at home on 19 April. Before that, there was a 1-1 draw away to Motor Lublin and a lively 3-3 cup draw with GKS Katowice. The blip came in the Polish Cup, where they lost 2-0 away to Górnik Zabrze on 2 May, but they answered it with a controlled 2-0 home win over Korona Kielce on 8 May. That’s the sort of response coaches want. No fuss, just points.

What stands out is that Raków haven’t been dragging themselves through tight, low-quality games. They’re usually involved. Their last home league outing against Korona was clean and efficient, even if the underlying numbers weren’t spectacular, with 0.92 xG and 1.43 xGA. Still, they scored twice and managed the game well enough once in front. The broader home record is respectable too: seven wins, four draws and four losses, with 20 goals scored and 13 conceded at their ground. That’s not the profile of a team that gets bullied at home. Far from it.

Still, there’s a slight wrinkle here. Raków can be steady without looking especially ruthless. Their attack has been good enough to keep them in the top three, but they’ve only scored 45 league goals overall and they do concede their share, with 37 shipped in total. That’s the reason the market keeps landing on both teams to score in matches involving them. They’ve also gone through spells where the defence hasn’t kept things clean, and even at home the numbers suggest a side that can be opened up if the opponent is brave enough. Dawid Kroczek’s team won’t want a track meet, but they may not get their wish.

Jagiellonia Białystok Form & Analysis

Jagiellonia’s latest league form has been a little uneven, but there’s still plenty to like about the way they go about things. They beat Pogoń Szczecin 3-2 at home on 9 May in a game full of incident, which followed a defeat to Górnik Zabrze on 24 April and a fine 3-0 away win at Arka Gdynia on 19 April. Before that came a 1-1 draw at Korona Kielce and a goalless home draw with Lech Poznań. Earlier in the run, they lost 2-1 to Wisła Płock. So it’s not been spotless. But the pattern is obvious: they’re usually in the game, and they usually create chances.

The Pogoń match underlined that. Jagiellonia racked up 2.09 xG, limited their opponents to 0.95, and hammered away with 20 shots, 14 of them on target. That sort of output tells you they’re not short of ideas or invention. Adrian Siemieniec’s side have 51 league goals this season, the best attacking return of the two teams here, and they’ve got 49 points from a record of 13 wins, 10 draws and eight losses. They’re second for a reason. They find ways to score. Even when they’re not perfect, they usually ask hard questions.

Away from home, Jagiellonia have been strong enough to keep belief high. Their away record reads five wins, seven draws and three losses, with 18 goals scored and 15 conceded. That’s a pretty healthy profile on the road. They don’t just turn up and survive; they go after matches. Can they do that in Częstochowa? That’s the real test. They’ve drawn a fair few away games, which tells you they’re rarely overrun, but it also hints at some caution when the game tightens. Against Raków, caution may not be enough.

Head-to-Head

This fixture has had goals in it for years, and that trend matters here. The last eight meetings are full of open scorelines: Jagiellonia won 2-1 in Białystok on 2 November 2025, Raków responded with a 2-1 away win on 10 May 2025, and there was a 2-2 draw in Białystok in November 2024. Go back further and you find a 4-2 Jagiellonia win in December 2023, a 3-0 Raków home success in July 2023, and another 2-2 in August 2022. These sides don’t often settle for boredom.

The clean-sheet angle is just as telling. Raków haven’t kept one against Jagiellonia in the recent sequence, and Jagiellonia haven’t shut Raków out either. That’s the kind of head-to-head history that keeps BTTS firmly in play. When these two meet, chances tend to follow.

We Predict: Both Teams To Score

We’re backing Both Teams To Score at 4/6 here, and it feels like the right call for a match between two sides sitting level on points and both carrying proper top-end quality. Our treble tips page is a useful companion here because it pulls together treble tips if you want a middle ground between singles and full accumulators. Raków are strong at home and have scored 20 league goals there, while Jagiellonia arrive with the division’s better overall attacking return and a road record that hasn’t been built on damage limitation alone. That combination usually produces chances at both ends.

The recent meeting pattern is hard to ignore too. Raków and Jagiellonia have traded goals regularly in this fixture, and both are coming off matches where they created enough to win. A 2-1 Raków victory is the scoreline that fits best. Raków’s home edge should count for plenty, but Jagiellonia have enough threat to get on the sheet. If you wanted a more aggressive angle, over 2.5 goals also has a very live feel.
