Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza — Last 6
Wisła Płock — Last 6

Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza welcome Wisła Płock to Nieciecza on Sunday afternoon in the Ekstraklasa, and this one matters for very different reasons at either end of the table. Marcin Brosz’s side are stuck in 18th place and need points to drag themselves away from the bottom end of the division, while Mariusz Misiura’s visitors arrive sitting sixth and still in the hunt for a strong finish that could keep the pressure on the teams above them.

There’s a bit of danger for both clubs here. Bruk-Bet aren’t just chasing survival, they’re chasing control. Too many of their matches have turned into scraps, and that’s a bad place to live when you’re trying to climb out of trouble. Wisła Płock, by contrast, have the sort of league position that brings expectation with it. They’re not safe enough to coast, not close enough to the very top to relax. They need to keep banking wins.

The recent meetings between these two have also leaned towards goals, which matters when you’re trying to read the mood of the game. Their previous Ekstraklasa clash at Wisła Płock ended 3-1 for the hosts in October 2025. Go back a little further and the pattern gets even more lively. This isn’t a fixture that usually settles down quickly.

Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza Form & Analysis

Bruk-Bet Termalica come into this after a frustrating run, and that’s putting it mildly. Their last six league matches have brought only one win, and that came at home against Piast Gliwice on 6 April, a 3-2 success that felt like a proper release after weeks of strain. Before and after that, though, the story has been mostly grim. They were beaten 1-0 at Widzew Łódź on 11 April, lost 4-1 away to Lech Poznań on 22 March, fell 2-1 at Korona Kielce on 7 March and went down 2-1 at home to Motor Lublin on 13 March. The only other result in that sequence was a 1-1 draw with Radomiak Radom on 1 March. That’s a tough sequence to dress up.

The real problem is that their performances away from home have been flimsy and their home form hasn’t been nearly strong enough to cover it. At their own ground this season, Bruk-Bet have managed just three wins from 14 league games, with four draws and seven defeats. They’ve scored 17 and conceded 25 at home. That’s not the profile of a team that can shut people out and squeeze results. It’s a side that usually gives up chances, and then asks its attack to do a lot of the heavy lifting. That won’t be easy against a team sitting sixth.

Still, they do carry some threat. The 3-2 win over Piast showed they can get numbers forward and turn a match chaotic in the right conditions. Their overall league record — 33 goals scored in 28 matches — is not awful for a side in the relegation zone, but the 51 conceded tells the harsher truth. They’ve been loose at the back for most of the season, and the recent 0-1 defeat at Widzew was a good example of how much pressure their defence can face when the game gets stretched. Arkadiusz Kasperkiewicz’s red card there only made life harder, and it’s another sign that Bruk-Bet are often fighting the match as much as the opponent.

Wisła Płock Form & Analysis

Wisła Płock arrive with a much healthier league picture, though their recent form has been a bit stop-start. Their last six league outings have produced three wins and three defeats, which tells you they’re still a little inconsistent. The encouraging part is that the wins have been proper away performances: a 2-1 victory at Cracovia on 14 March and another 2-1 success at Jagiellonia Białystok on 21 March. Those were the sort of results that show a team can travel, take risks and still land punches. Then came a 1-0 home loss to GKS Katowice on 4 April, before they steadied themselves with a narrow 1-0 win over Lechia Gdańsk on 10 April. Small margins, plenty of tension. That’s been the theme.

Away from home, Wisła’s numbers are solid rather than spectacular, and that’s exactly what you’d expect from a side in sixth. They’ve won three, drawn six and lost five on the road, scoring 13 and conceding 16. Not flashy. Not soft either. They don’t usually collapse away from home, and that makes them awkward visitors. A return of only 13 away goals across the campaign does suggest they’re not a free-scoring travel side, but they’re competent and organised enough to stay in games. That matters here because Bruk-Bet rarely keep things under control for 90 minutes.

There’s also a clear edge in the table and, generally, in balance. Wisła have scored 29 and conceded 26 across the season, which is a tidy profile compared with Bruk-Bet’s leaky 51 against. Mariusz Misiura’s team aren’t built to dominate by brute force, but they know how to win tight matches. Their 1-0 over Lechia was another example of that. They don’t need many chances to get ahead, and once they do, they’re usually happy to manage the game from there. The question is whether they can do that away from home against a side that tends to make life messy.

Head-to-Head

This fixture has produced goals for years, and the recent meetings only strengthen that feeling. Wisła Płock won the last one 3-1 at home in October 2025, and before that they beat Bruk-Bet 3-0 in March 2025. Bruk-Bet did get their own strong reply in August 2024 with a 4-2 home win, so it hasn’t been one-way traffic. But the common thread is obvious enough. These games usually open up.

There’s also a clear pattern in the scoring. Four of the last five meetings have seen both teams find the net, and that’s hard to ignore when the two clubs arrive with defensive flaws of their own. Even more telling, five of the last five H2Hs have gone over 2.5 goals. That’s a very strong run. No one should expect a cagey, low-risk afternoon if the recent history is anything to go by.

We Predict: Both Teams To Score

We’re backing Both Teams To Score at 8/13 for this one, and it looks a strong angle rather than a fancy play. Bruk-Bet’s home matches have been full of traffic all season, their overall defensive record is poor, and they’ve now gone through a long spell of games without a clean sheet. Wisła Płock aren’t exactly ruthless away from home, but they’ve scored in enough tricky fixtures to fancy their chances of landing at least once in Nieciecza.

The numbers fit the eye test as well. Bruk-Bet have scored in plenty of games but usually leave the door open at the other end, while Wisła have shown they can nick goals on the road, especially against sides that don’t defend with much control. A 2-1 Bruk-Bet win is the call here, just about, with the hosts’ need for points and their home urgency nudging them over the line. If you wanted a smaller alternative, over 2.5 goals has plenty of appeal too, though BTTS feels the cleaner bet.
