Kayserispor — Last 6
Eyüpspor — Last 6

Kayserispor host Eyüpspor in the Trendyol Süper Lig on Sunday evening, 3 May 2026, and this one has a proper bottom-half feel to it. Both sides are still fighting to pull clear of trouble, with Kayserispor sitting 17th on 26 points and Eyüpspor 15th on 28. That’s not a huge gap, but it’s the sort of gap that matters when every point starts to feel heavy.

There’s a bit more than just survival at stake too. Kayserispor’s home form has been poor enough to keep them looking over their shoulder, while Eyüpspor have had enough flashes of quality to suggest they’re not done yet. The problem for both is consistency. One good result never seems to stay company for long. Sunday’s meeting is the kind of game that can shift the mood either way.

Kayserispor come in off a much-needed 2-0 home win over Çaykur Rizespor on 25 April, a result that at least stopped the rot. Before that, they were on a miserable run: a 3-0 defeat at Gaziantep FK, the 4-0 home hammering by Fenerbahçe, and a 2-0 loss at Kasımpaşa. The one bright spot before this latest win was a narrow 1-0 success against Fatih Karagümrük at home on 19 March. Still, this is a side that has spent most of the spring being second best. Three defeats in four, then a response. That’s the pattern. It’s been hard work.

Eyüpspor arrive with a slightly better vibe after back-to-back wins of their own. They beat Gaziantep FK 3-0 at home last time out, following a 2-1 success away at Fatih Karagümrük. Before that, though, it was bleak enough: home defeat to Samsunspor, a 3-0 loss at Antalyaspor, and losses to Trabzonspor and Kasımpaşa either side of that. They’ve been capable of looking sharp in bursts, then flat for long stretches. Can they string two strong performances together? That’s the question.

Kayserispor Form & Analysis

Kayserispor’s recent story is a familiar one for a struggling side: a decent performance, then a rough patch, then the occasional lifeline. The win over Çaykur Rizespor was important because it wasn’t a smash-and-grab. They controlled it, created enough, and finally looked like a team with a bit of clarity in the final third. Fedor Chalov scored late, Laszlo Benes added the second, and there was a disallowed goal in there too. That should tell you they weren’t relying on luck. Before that, though, they’d been ripped apart by Fenerbahçe and also beaten comfortably at Gaziantep FK. The margin for error has been tiny. Sometimes they’ve been punished heavily for it.

Their home record is the main reason they’re still stuck in the lower reaches of the table. Four wins, three draws and eight losses at their own ground is hardly the profile of a safe team, and the 12 goals scored at home is a poor return. The 30 conceded at home is worse. That’s a lot of times being opened up in front of their own crowd. The numbers line up with the feeling you get watching them: they can compete in patches, but the back line gives away too much space and too many clean chances. Against stronger opponents, the punishment is usually immediate. Against weaker ones, they’ve still been too vulnerable.

There is a slight edge to Kayserispor here because they’ve just ended a losing spell and because the home setting gives them a better chance of dictating tempo. But don’t let that fool you into thinking they’re steady. They’ve conceded in five of their last six league matches, and they’ve not looked remotely convincing enough to trust blindly. Even so, if they can reproduce the balance they showed against Rizespor — solid enough out of possession, patient in attack — they’ve got a route to three points. It won’t need a masterpiece. Just a clean, competent evening. That’s the bar.

Eyüpspor Form & Analysis

Eyüpspor’s last six have been messy, but the last fortnight has at least given them some life. The 3-0 win over Gaziantep FK was their best display in that stretch, with goals spread across the second half and enough control to make the scoreline feel deserved. The away win at Fatih Karagümrük was just as useful in a different way. Tight, competitive, and taken late. Those are the sort of results that can steady a side. Before that, though, the wheels were wobbling badly. They lost at home to Samsunspor, were beaten at Antalyaspor, and also went down against Trabzonspor and Kasımpaşa. That’s four defeats in a row in the middle of the run, and it’s the sort of sequence that gets you dragged into trouble fast.

Away from home, Eyüpspor have been fragile across the season. Three wins, three draws and nine losses on the road is not a record that inspires much confidence, and the 10 goals scored away from home tells the same story. They’re not arriving and taking games by the scruff of the neck. Often they’re hanging on, hoping to nick something later on. The 23 conceded away is a problem too. They don’t travel with much defensive certainty, and when they fall behind, they tend to look rattled. That’s the danger here. If Kayserispor score first, Eyüpspor will have work to do.

Still, there are reasons they can’t be dismissed. The recent 3-0 win showed they do have a cutting edge when things click, and they’ve managed to pick up results against teams around them. They’re also not coming in totally flat; two wins from their last two is at least a platform. Mind you, the big issue is that their away form hasn’t given them any real backbone. They’re the sort of side that can make a match open without ever fully controlling it. That can be useful if you’re chasing goals. It’s a problem if you’re trying to protect a lead.

Head-to-Head

The recent meetings lean towards a game that stays competitive rather than one side taking over completely. The last three league clashes have all finished level: 1-1 in December 2025, 1-1 again in February 2025, and 2-2 at Kayserispor in September 2024. That’s a decent little pattern if you’re looking for both teams to have their say.

There’s one longer-term wrinkle as well. Eyüpspor have not beaten Kayserispor in the last five meetings, and Kayserispor haven’t lost any of them either. That won’t decide Sunday’s match on its own, but it does hint at a fixture that Kayserispor have tended to handle reasonably well. The flip side? These meetings have usually been open enough to produce goals.

We Predict: Home Win

We’re backing Home Win at 8/11 here. Our treble tips page is a useful companion here because it pulls together treble tips if you want a middle ground between singles and full accumulators. It’s not a huge price, but it’s the clearest angle. Kayserispor are at least coming off a confidence-boosting 2-0 win, while Eyüpspor’s away record remains shaky enough to question them in this spot. The home side’s edge is simple: they’ve been poor, yes, but Eyüpspor’s road numbers are no better. That tips it towards the hosts.

The projected scoreline is 2-1 to Kayserispor. That feels right for a game where both teams should find chances but one side — the hosts — has just enough home-ground lift to edge it. If you want a slightly safer angle, both teams to score has some appeal given the recent head-to-heads and the defensive records on both sides. Still, the straight home win is the pick. Kayserispor should squeeze this.
